PHLX Update Pricing Effective February 2, 2015

Effective Monday, February 2, 2015, pending SEC approval, the following changes will apply to PHLX:

  • Firm electronic Simple Orders in Penny Pilot options AAPL, BAC, EEM, FB, FXI, IWM, QQQ, TWTR, VXX, and XLF will be assessed $0.27 per contract.

  • Electronic Complex Orders for Professionals, Broker-Dealers, and Firms will be assessed $0.35 per contract.

  • Surcharge after reaching the Monthly Cap, Market Makers will be assessed $0.05 per contract for Adding Liquidity against a Customer order in Penny Pilot Options.

  • The Initiating Order fee will be $0.05 per contract for Simple PIXL Orders and decreased to $0.03 per contract for Complex PIXL firms that qualify for Tier 4 or 5 in the Customer Rebate Program. Any member or member organization under Common Ownership with another member or member organization that qualifies for a Customer Rebate Tier 4 or 5 discount in Section B will receive the PIXL Initiating Order discount as described above.The Initiating Order Fee for Professional, Firm, Broker-Dealer, Specialist and Market Maker orders that are contra to a Customer PIXL Order will be reduced to $0.00 if the Customer PIXL Order is greater than 399 contracts.

  • Rebates under the Customer Rebate Program on orders executed in PIXL will be capped at 4,000 contracts for Simple PIXL and 4,000 contracts per order leg for Complex PIXL.

  • Customer Complex PIXL Orders that execute against a Complex PIXL Initiating Order will no longer be paid a rebate in Category B of the Customer Rebate Program for firms qualifying for Tier 4 or 5.
