Nasdaq GEMX and MRX Update System Settings

On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, Nasdaq GEMX (GEMX) will update the system settings related to the Market Order Spread Potection. Nasdaq MRX (MRX) will update the same system settings on Monday, January 28. 2019. Currently, simple market orders are rejected if the bid/ask differential of the NBBO and internal BBO are wider than a configurable amount, currently set to $5.00 for all symbols. As of Tuesday, January 22nd on GEMX and Monday, January 28th on MRX, all symbols will have the threshold configured to $5.00, with the following exceptions: Market Order Spread Protection Bid/Ask Differential Allowance of $20.00:

Please note that any future changes made to the quote width requirements will also apply to these bid/ask differential allowances.
