For monthly statistics prior to March 2008, the Volume of the FINRA/Nasdaq Trade Reporting Facility can be computed as the difference between Total Nasdaq Volume and Matched Nasdaq Volume. Routed Volume can be computed as the difference between Nasdaq Handled Volume and Total Nasdaq Volume.

On Monday, May 21, 2007, NYSE Arca experienced problems reporting trades to the Consolidated Tape System (CTS). Details of the incident and corrected data are available here. The monthly report for Non-Nasdaq listed securities for May 2007 does not include volume in CTS securities for May 21.
