The tender offer by Apollo Global Management Inc. (NYSE: APO) to acquire all of the outstanding common stock of The Michaels Companies, Inc. (MIK) expired at 5:00 p.m. ET, on April 14, 2021. The subsequent merger closed prior to the market open today, April 15, 2021. In anticipation of the closing, the stock was halted immediately following the after-hours session at 8 p.m. on April 14, 2021.
