Nasdaq PHLX to launch XND Daily Expiries

On Monday, December 12, 2022, Nasdaq PHLX (PHLX) will commence the trading of XND Daily p.m.-settled options on the Nasdaq 100® Micro Index.

Listing of Daily XND Expirations

On Monday, December 12, 2022, Phlx will list Daily XND Expirations with the following expiration dates:

  • Monday, December 19, 2022
  • Tuesday, December 20, 2022
  • Wednesday, December 21, 2022
  • Thursday, December 22, 2022
  • Tuesday, December 27, 2022
  • Wednesday, December 28, 2022
  • Thursday, December 29, 2022

As part of the Nonstandard Expirations Pilot Program, PHLX has been approved to list up to 5 continuous weeks of p.m.-settled daily expirations in XND. The next listing date will be December 16, 2022, where Phlx will list XND daily options with an expiration date of Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Phlx will continue to list additional XND daily expirations on an ongoing two-week out rolling basis, with the ability to list up to five weeks out at a later date.

Like other XND options, XND “Dailies” are a series of the XND options class. XND options are p.m.-settled, that is, their exercise settlement value is based on the closing level of the Micro Nasdaq-100 Index on the day the options expire. The settlement value for XNDC is calculated as specified here in: https://indexes.nasdaqomx.com/Index/History/XNDC
