What you need to know:

Effective Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Nasdaq, through its data dissemination relationship with Bitwise, will send daily index level information on the Nasdaq Global Data Service℠(GIDS).

What are the new Indexes?

XBITQ: The Bitwise Crypto Innovators 30 Price Return Index is an equity index that provides focused exposure to companies that are building the future of the crypto-asset-enabled decentralized economy. The index is divided into a pure-play tier of companies focused on the crypto market, and a supporting tier of companies with at least $100 million of liquid crypto assets on their balance sheet.

How are the Indexes disseminated?

Effective Wednesday, May 12, 2021, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:

  • Index Directory (Message Type R): Disseminated at the start of each day to relay basic index information.
