The High Court of Justice of England and Wales has confirmed the application of Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure plc (AY) to sanction the scheme of arrangement pursuant to which Energy Capital Partners, will acquire Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure plc. The stock was immediately following the after-hours session at 7:50 p.m. (E.T.) on December 11, 2024. The court has issued and made available to Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure plc an order sanctioning the scheme of arrangement on the morning of December 12, 2024. The transaction closed prior to the market open on December 12, 2024. The stock will remain halted on the day of closing (December 12th) and will be suspended effective December 13, 2024.
