At a special meeting held on January 31, 2024, the shareholders of Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc (CNSL) approved the proposed merger with Searchlight Capital Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation. The merger is tentatively scheduled to close prior to the market open on December 27, 2024. In anticipation of the closing, the stock will be halted immediately following the after-hours session at or around 7:50 p.m. on December 26, 2024. If the merger closes as anticipated, the stock will remain halted on the day of closing (December 27th) and will be suspended effective December 30, 2024. The details are as follows:
