At a special meeting held on July 2, 2025, the shareholders of Old Point Financial Corporation (OPOF) approved the proposed merger with and into TowneBank (TOWN). The merger is tentatively scheduled to close at 12:02 am on September 1, 2025. In anticipation of the closing, the stock will be halted immediately following the after-hours session at or around 7:50 p.m. on August 29, 2025.
