REMINDER: 2023 Failover and Market Wide Circuit Breaker Testing Schedule

What you need to know:

  • As previously announced, the SIP's will conduct data center failover testing to the secondary data center as well as Market-Wide Circuit Breaker (MWCB) Breach Level 1 and 2 (7% breach and 13% breach). The test with the Participants will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023. All Data Subscribers are invited to participate in this test to validate the expected processing within their systems..

  • Testing will be conducted between 9:00 - 12:00 a.m. ET. Specific failover times will be unannounced in order to simulate unexpected real-time occurrences. This test concludes the scheduled testing for 2023.

  • Testing Schedule for 2024 is as follows:
    • Saturday, April 6, 2024 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #1)
    • Saturday, July 20,2024 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #2)
    • Saturday, September 7, 2024 (Dedicated MWCB Level 1, 2 & 3)
    • Saturday, December 7, 2024 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #3)
