What you need to know:Nasdaq announces the sunsetting of the Nasdaq QView service. This change is effective Thursday, December 31, 2020. |
---|
What is Qview?
Nasdaq QView, and the associated Latency Optics, were developed by Nasdaq in 2012 to provide transparency into the customers’ individual order flow using the Corvil system deployed in the Nasdaq Data Center. More details can be here: http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/Trader.aspx?id=QView.
Why is QView being sunset?
Nasdaq is constantly reviewing its product catalog to ensure that the tools and services offered are a fit to not only our customers, but a fit within the larger Nasdaq product strategy. As part of that ongoing review process, it was decided that after 8 years, QView is no longer a strategic fit for Nasdaq’s catalog. Instead, Nasdaq will refocus its development resources on new tools and services better tailored to meet the demands of our customers.
When will QView be sunset?
The existing QView front end will be turned down on Thursday, December 31, 2020. The product will not be available beyond this date.
What should I do if I am a current subscriber?
For current subscribers, a Nasdaq Sales Representative will contact each subscribing firm of the QView application to ensure an orderly end of life process. As of Thursday, December 31, user credentials for all customers will no longer accessible and all billing of the QView product will cease following the December billable period in January, 2021.
