On Thursday, December 5, 2019, CBS Corporation (CBS & CBS.A) and Viacom Inc. (VIA & VIAB) will merge, with CBS continuing as the surviving company. Nasdaq asks that all market data redistributors update their database to reflect the new listing market for ViacomCBS Inc. after market close on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Nasdaq requests that market data redistributors retain historical data for CBS.A and CBS.

When the issues move from NYSE to Nasdaq, firms will see a change in the consolidated data source for ViacomCBS Inc.
