What you need to know:

To standardize the Bloomberg tickers for the NDX suite of indexes, we are changing the tickers for some NDX currency versions.

In June 2024, Nasdaq created new tickers in Bloomberg for a range of NDX currency versions and they have been running in parallel since then.

On Monday, November 18th, 2024, Nasdaq will discontinue the old tickers on Bloomberg. Clients should refer to the new index tickers on Bloomberg going forward.

After this date, clients will no longer be able to access the old tickers on Bloomberg.

The GIW and GIFFD symbols for the impacted indexes will not be changing.
