Effective Friday, August 29th, 2025, Nasdaq will begin disseminating the following new index on Nasdaq Global Index Watch (GIW) and the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS).

What is the new index?

The Nasdaq-100 Hedged Equity Laddered Index (NDXHELI) tracks the performance of a systematic total return of a hedged equity strategy. The strategy has three option tranches and aims to provide downside protection against quarterly losses of the Nasdaq-100® Index from -5% to -20% laddering monthly, while still capturing upside participation of the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index®.

How is the Index disseminated?

On Friday, August 29th, 2025, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
