Effective Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, Nasdaq will begin disseminating the following new indexes on Nasdaq Global Index Watch (GIW) and the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS).


What are the new indexes?

The Nasdaq-100 Futures 35% Managed Volatility 6% Decrement Index is designed to provide leveraged exposure to Nasdaq-100 E-mini Futures (symbol: NQ), via the Nasdaq-100 Futures Excess Return™ Index (NDXNQER™), while targeting a 35% level of volatility. The Index uses both historical Component and intraday Reference Component prices to calculate realized volatility in order to quickly react to changing market dynamics.

The Nasdaq-100 Futures 40% Managed Volatility 6% Decrement Index is designed to provide leveraged exposure to Nasdaq-100 E-mini Futures (symbol: NQ), via the Nasdaq-100 Futures Excess Return™ Index (NDXNQER™), while targeting a 40% level of volatility. The Index uses both historical Component and intraday Reference Component prices to calculate realized volatility in order to quickly react to changing market dynamics.

How are the Indexes disseminated?

On Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
