When will test securities be available for NASDAQ’s upcoming Single Book?
On July 24, 2006, NASDAQ® will make test stocks available for testing Single Book functionality over NASDAQ, INET and Brut protocols and interfaces.
Will there be weekend testing opportunities for Single Book?
NASDAQ will be announcing weekend testing dates prior to each phase of the integration.
What is the phase-in schedule for Single Book?
As announced in Head Trader Alert #2006-90, Single Book integration in NASDAQ-listed issues will occur in a security-by-security phase-in currently scheduled for August of 2006.
Single Book integration in NYSE-, Amex- and regional-listed securities will occur on a single date (not a phased approach), following the completion of the NASDAQ-listed integration, on or after September 1, 2006.
Please note that Single Book integration is subject to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approval.
When will Single Book be approved?
The SEC has indicated that it will soon act on NASDAQ’s Single Book proposal. Further information will be communicated as it becomes available.
