NASDAQ to Begin Listing VelocityShares ETNs on Monday, December 2, 2013

What you need to know:

  • On Monday, December 2, 2013, NASDAQ will list 12 new VelocityShares ETNs.
  • The ETNs will list on The NASDAQ Global Market.
  • You may register as a market maker by contacting NASDAQ OMX Trading Operations at +1 212 231 5100.

When will the new ETN begin trading?

Effective Monday, December 2, 2013, The NASDAQ Stock Market® (NASDAQ®) will list 12 new ETNs. For more information, refer to the VelocityShares Informational Circular on the NASDAQ OMX Trader® website.

How will the ETNs be traded?

The new ETN will be designated as NASDAQ Global MarketSM security.

How is ETN data disseminated?

Quotation and trade data for NASDAQ-listed ETNs are disseminated via UTP Level 1, NASDAQ Basic, NASDAQ Level 2 and NASDAQ TotalView® using the trading symbols listed below.

The ETN daily valuation and intraday portfolio value (IPV) will continue to be disseminated via its existing distribution, uninterrupted, on December 2, 2013. These daily valuations will be widely disseminated and broadly displayed via major index service providers such as NASDAQ OMX's proprietary index data services or other major market proprietary index services.

Who will be the DLP for the ETNs?

IMC Chicago, LLC (MPID: IMCC) will be the DLP for VIIX and XIV

Virtu Financial (MPID: VIRT) will be the DLP for VIIZ, ZIV, TVIX, TVIZ, USLV, UGLD, DSLV, DGLD, LPLT, IPLT

How can I register as a market maker in this ETNs?

You may register as a market maker by contacting NASDAQ OMX Trading Operations at +1 212 231 5100. Market makers in the VelocityShares ETNs can register beginning Monday, December 2, 2013.

All purchasers of newly issued ETNs must receive a prospectus or product description.
