Nasdaq to Observe a Moment of Silence in Remembrance of 9/11

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Tuesday’s Children, a New York-based national nonprofit supporting the 9/11 community and military families of the fallen, will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.

In honor of the occasion, John Fitzsimmons, LtCol USMC RET, Chairman, will ring the Opening Bell.

Nasdaq will observe a one-minute moment of silence at 9:20 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) to honor the victims, their families and survivors of September 11th. The names of the victims will scroll on the Nasdaq Tower from 9-9:20 AM ET.
