Nasdaq Canada Publishes Updated Professional User Fee Price Schedule

As per regulatory guidelines, Nasdaq Canada is modifying its professional user fee schedule. The following fee changes are effective July 1, 2020.


What is being announced?

Nasdaq Canada Professional User fees will be modified to reflect the following fee schedule on July 1, 2020.

Trading Facility Security Listing Price
Nasdaq CXC TSX Listed Level 1 $14.95
TSX Listed Level 2 $35.25
TSXV Listed Level 1 $2.10
TSXV Listed Level 2 $4.30
Nasdaq CX2 TSX Listed Level 1 $5.10
TSX Listed Level 2 $12.05
TSXV Listed Level 1 $2.60
TSXV Listed Level 2 $5.35
Nasdaq Basic Canada TSX & TSXV Level 1 $24.75

When are these fees effective?

The above fee changes are effective July 1, 2020. However, the Nasdaq Basic Canada fees are effective October 1, 2020 as Nasdaq Canada is introducing a fee waiver for its Nasdaq Basic Canada product. This waiver will make Nasdaq Basic Canada free of charge for all users and firms. The waiver will be effective June 1, 2020 through September 30th, 2020.
