Microsoft Internet Explorer to Reach End of Lifecycle

What you need to know:

Effective Wednesday, June 15, 2022, midnight (EST), Microsoft Internet Explorer will reach the end of its lifecycle and no longer be supported. As a result, the Nasdaq FTP, ftp://ftp.nasdaqtrader.com, will no longer be accessible through Internet Explorer.


How will firms be impacted by this change?

Firms continuing to use Internet Explorer after June 15, 2022, midnight (EST), will lose ability to access the Nasdaq FTP. Firms already using a service to access this information, will not be impacted.

What action do firms need to take?

Firms currently using Internet Explorer to access the Nasdaq FTP need to download a different file transfer application prior June 15, 2022, midnight (EST) to ensure no disruption in service.

Some free FTP solutions available are WinSCP or FileZilla, however, firms can decide if another option better suits their needs.
