NASDAQ ACT Unsolicited Messages to Include Short Sale Information Effective April 26, 2010

What you need to know:

  • NASDAQ OMX® will modify the content of the Unsolicited Messages from ACTSM for clearing firms beginning Monday, April 26, 2010.

What is changing within ACT?

NASDAQ OMX will begin including short sale information on ACT Unsolicited Messages for clearing firms starting Monday, April 26, 2010.

The following clearing messages will now contain a value in FIX tag 853 and CTCI field B/S/X to indicate a short sale designation when applicable:

  • CTEN
  • CREN
  • CGEN
  • TTAL
  • CRAL
  • CGAL
  • TTNW
  • TRNW
  • TGNW
